I was always told that a cotton ball with a drop of olive oil stops nose bleeding.

Dr. Hagen said this was not one of the home remedies they investigated, however the olive oil may help keep the cotton ball from sticking to the inside of the nose. The best treatment is to pinch the nose just below the bony/bridge part until it stops bleeding.

Not a question…but a suggestion. 🙂 Always keep an aloe plant in you kitchen for burns! Break off one of the leaves and spread the gel directly on the burn…it relieves the pain, prevents a blister and scar.

Is there any truth in the theory that a bar of ivory soap between your bed sheets will prevent leg cramps?
