My daughter, 24, had Nuro virus July ’09. She developed IBS, according to the docs here. She has no quality of life at this point. She tries to go without food for 6 hrs but upon eating has diahreaa within an hour. Did colonoscopy yr ago, normal. Did GI xrays as well. All normal. Is in pain all the time. Does have some constipation off and on. What do you recommend? Should we come to Mayo for exam?

I have Crohn’s, how much higher is my risk for colon cancer? and How often should I be checked?

Lately I seem to be flaring up (cramping and pain in my stomach and lower gut area), is there anything diet wise I could do to help ease the pain?
