I just read your twitter post regarding H1N1 symptoms. Isn’t a cough and or sore throat an important symptom ? Was not listed in the post I saw.

methodicjon tweeted the following question: My wife is pregnant. If she skips the h1n1 vaccine and she gets it, what are her treatment options? Tamiflu?

Here is the response from Dr. Marshall: A pregnant woman who develops symptoms of influenza should contact her physician promptly. Antiviral medications may help prevent complications.

Here is the response from Dr. Poland: If she skips the #h1n1 #vaccine and she gets it, what are her treatment options? She can take Tamiflu – but the complication and death rate of H1N1 in pregnant women is very high. Best to take the vaccine.
